The Sequoia Dual Impact Tonne is a powerful blend of present and future climate solutions. Each unit pairs a verified carbon offset from renewable wind energy—delivering immediate emissions avoidance—with a forward-looking commitment to long-term carbon removal through the growth of our Giant Sequoia trees. By combining real-time impact with nature-based sequestration, the Sequoia Dual Impact Tonne provides both certainty and legacy: a tonne reduced today, and a tonne grown to protect tomorrow. It's a smarter, more complete way to fight climate change—now and for generations to come.
By combining these two credits into a single unit we create a single more robust carbon solution. VERRA verified and ISO compliant while also an ultra durable natural carbon removal that serves to protect the future of the Giant Sequoia - currently on the IUCN Endangered Species Red List. Each component’s strength’s address the shortfalls of the other.
The wind power project offering the VERRA credit is from a greenfield project that exports power to the Maharashtra state electricity grid thereby displacing power produced by fossil fuelled based power plants.
The Sequoia Carbon is measured by each tonne of carbon dioxide sequestered from the atmosphere by our Giant Sequoia trees within The Great Reserve over 150 years from planting, audited and verified by the Soil Association in accordance with the FSC® Ecosystem Services Procedure the product of strict adherence to the Sequoia Carbon Code.
Over the 150 year period each Giant Sequoia tree is forecasted to capture 112 tonnes of CO2, net of additionality.
Price can be made variable (between £10-60 per tonne) if Sequoia growth period is extended or shortened.
For standalone Sequoia Carbon (unpaired from of wind energy credit) their are two options:
Sequoia Carbon 150 Year Vintage: £14 per tonne (incl. VAT)
Sequoia Carbon 85 Year Vintage: £55 per tonne (incl. VAT)

A digital certificate for your carbon purchase and a wood engraved plaque with the GPS coordinates of your tree(s) will be provided. An additional certificate for the VERRA verified and ISO compliant renewable energy carbon credit will also be issued and visible on the VERRA registry with your company name.
